Precise Alignment for Smooth Feeding
This shim kit allows you to precisely adjust the shellplate height on your FA X-10, ensuring it perfectly matches the case feed deck height. With accurate alignment, the case plunger delivers cases smoothly and reliably, minimizing jams and ensuring consistent performance during operation.
Installation
Step 1 Uncouple the powder measure, then remove both the toolhead and the primer feed mechanism.
Step 2 Unscrew the shellplate retainer, then carefully lift out the shellplate.
Step 3 Install a medium shim, then re-install the shellplate and retainer. Check the alignment between the case feed deck and the shellplate cutout height to ensure proper case feeding.
Step 4 Repeat Step 3, adding or removing shims as needed, until the case feed deck is perfectly level with the shellplate cutout.
Step 5 Reassemble the machine and you’re ready to go!
